DAY ONE
At 9:15 a.m. meet at our Borneo Nature Tours Sdn. Bhd. office for registration and short briefing. Scheduled Transfer at 9:30 a.m., an overland journey on a gravel road to Borneo Rainforest Lodge for 2½ hours. Upon arrived at Borneo Rainforest Lodge, our exotic Welcome Drink will be served while the Front Office Personnel will brief you on the facilities available at the Lodge. In the afternoon, an introduction to the forest through Nature Trail and proceed to the Canopy Walkway. In the evening, if weather permits, experience a Night Drive in an open-air truck in search of nocturnal animals. (L/D)
DAY TWO
Guided jungle activities - trek to the Kadazandusun burial site – Coffin Cliff then proceed with trekking to the View Point for a bird’s eye view of the Danum Valley and Borneo lowland rainforest area. Descend to the Jacuzzi Pool for a refreshing dip. Optional : Water tubing for an hour in the Danum River or guest own leisure. In the evening, if weather permits, enjoy a Night Walk around the lodge in search of nocturnal animals. (B/L/D)
DAY THREE
Guided trekking to the Fairy Falls and Serpent Falls. Optional : Trekking along the Segama River or at guest own leisure. Do visit our Gift Shop. (B/L/D)
DAY FOUR
Guided morning walk at the Hornbill Trail. Check-out time is at 1:00 p.m. Scheduled Transfer at 1:30 p.m., an overland journey to Lahad Datu Town. (B/L)

Transfer from Lahad Datu to Tabin Wildlife Reserve on gravel road for about one hour. Check into the charming timber bungalow of Tabin Wildlife Resort which comes complete with private balcony and hot water shower, a real luxury in the forest. Built alongside the Lipad river and nestled within the rainforest, a variety of birds, insects and even small mammals can be sighted quite easily within the resort. Discover the rich variety of jungle herbs, some endemic, used for generations by local folks for the treatment of various ailments. In the afternoon, visit the Lipad mud volcano which serves as a mineral salt lick for wildlife. After trekking through the jungle for twenty minutes, arrive at the elevated bare area of the mud volcano. Try to identify the multitude of animal footprints here. Those adventurous can experiment the effect of the volcanic mud said to be responsible for fine complexion. Walk up the observation tower and admire the contrasting landscape of the bare area and its surrounding thick forest where birds are commonly sighted. Depart Tabin in the afternoon. Day 02You may opt to take up a dawn drive to look out for wildlife that are active at this time of the day (not included in package). Join the morning bird walk as Tabin has a rich collection of about 300 bird species. After breakfast, trek through the lush green jungle known for its rich diversity of plants and animal species to visit Lipad’s Waterfall. Take a dip in the natural pool and enjoy the refreshing splash coming down from the waterfall. Alternatively explore the surrounding vegetation or just relax. (B,L)
